President Tinubu admits challenge writing his autobiography, memoirs

By Kunle Sanni –
President Bola Tinubu has revealed that he has made several unsuccessful attempts to write a book, describing the task as highly challenging.
According to a report by Premium Times, the president made the disclosure on Tuesday in Owerri, Imo State, during the public presentation of A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria, authored by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
“To author a book is a very challenging task. I tried, but I have not succeeded on a number of occasions,” Tinubu said, while commending Uzodimma for documenting the milestones and struggles of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the past decade.
Tinubu noted that Uzodimma’s effort was more than a book launch, describing it as “a reflection on decades of collective effort and sacrifice.” He added that recording Nigeria’s political journey was vital for both national memory and leadership accountability.
“Good job. Good thinking. A man of great vision. Well done,” Tinubu told the Imo governor, as the audience responded with applause.
The president further reiterated his administration’s commitment to steering Nigeria on a path of recovery and progress, citing economic growth and a decline in inflation as signs of improvement.
