President Bola Tinubu has unveiled plans for a national youth conference scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth inclusiveness and nation-building.
In his New Year message on Wednesday, Tinubu emphasized the significance of shared values and unity in driving Nigeria’s development:
“As far-reaching and foundational as our reforms are, they can only yield the desired outcomes through shared values, common identity, and unconditional love for our country,” he stated.
Describing the youth conference as a key initiative, Tinubu said it would serve as a platform to engage young Nigerians:
“The youth confab will begin in the first quarter of 2025, a testament to our commitment to youth inclusiveness and their role as nation-builders.”
He added that the Ministry of Youth would soon release details on the selection process for representatives from Nigeria’s diverse youth communities.
The President concluded by encouraging Nigerians to maintain faith in themselves and the nation:
“Dear compatriots, I urge you to continue believing in yourselves and keeping faith in our blessed country.”
