President Tinubu brings in Bayo Onanuga for information, strategy

President Bola Tinubu has brought in seasoned professional and former Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, to reorganize the information management at the Presidency.

He will be Special Adviser, Information and Strategy to the President, according to a statement on Saturday night by Presidential Spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.

Ngelale said in his statement : “As part of efforts to prioritize effective and efficient working synergy between the Presidency and Federal Ministries, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of professionals who have prior working experience within the architecture of the Federal Ministries they will be coordinating with, in addition to duties that will be carried out at the President’s discretion:

“Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy — Mr. Bayo Onanuga.”

Onanuga was Director, Media & Publicity for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign.

He is believed to have been brought in to properly organise the information machinery at the Presidential Villa.

Also appointed is Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation — Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu.
