President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to two distinguished Nigerians — Chief Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu and High Chief Olayinka Fasuyi — as they mark landmark milestones of 90 and 70 years, respectively.

In separate tributes released on Thursday, the President described both men as exemplary figures whose lives of service, innovation, and philanthropy have left indelible marks on Nigeria’s social and economic landscape.

Celebrating Chief Kessington Adebutu, President Tinubu hailed the business mogul and philanthropist for his enduring contributions to national development, entrepreneurship, and cultural preservation. He noted that from humble beginnings in Iperu-Iremo, Ogun State, Chief Adebutu rose through hard work, integrity, and vision to become one of Nigeria’s most respected entrepreneurs and benefactors.

“Chief Adebutu’s entrepreneurial spirit — pioneering the modern lotto business — has created jobs, sustained families, and inspired young Nigerians,” the President said, adding that his philanthropic efforts through the Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation have transformed lives and communities across the country.

Tinubu praised Chief Adebutu for his consistency, generosity, and patriotism, describing him as “a loyal, dependable, and humble gentleman whose legacy of compassion and service will endure across generations.”

In a similar message, President Tinubu congratulated High Chief Olayinka Fasuyi, the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and Founder of the Ibadan Business School, on his 70th birthday. He lauded Chief Fasuyi’s outstanding contributions to management consultancy, education, and community development.

The President commended the celebrant’s leadership in advancing the growth of Ijesaland through initiatives such as the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) and the Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), which he said have redefined the region’s socio-economic and infrastructural landscape.

“At 70, you stand not only as the Asiwaju of Ijesaland but as a great achiever whose ideas, vision, and accomplishments align with our national quest for progress,” President Tinubu said. “You embody the truth that one person, armed with vision, faith, and courage, can transform the destiny of a people.”
