President Tinubu celebrates Femi Pedro at 70, praises his service to Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Lagos State Deputy Governor, Otunba Femi Pedro, on his 70th birthday, praising his contributions to public service, banking, and entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
In a statement on Tuesday, President Tinubu described Pedro as a trailblazer and a dedicated leader whose legacy continues to inspire.
Reflecting on their time in Lagos State’s leadership, he lauded Pedro’s commitment to excellence and the state’s progress during his tenure as deputy governor.
“Otunba Femi Pedro is a brilliant mind and a dedicated public servant whose contributions to Lagos State and Nigeria inspire many.
“As my deputy when I was governor of Lagos, he showed an unwavering commitment to excellence and the progress of our nation. This sets him apart as a leader who always prioritizes the people,” Tinubu said.
The president also acknowledged Pedro’s achievements in banking and entrepreneurship, highlighting his role in creating opportunities and boosting Nigeria’s economy.
“As Femi marks this milestone, I join his family, friends, and well-wishers in praying for his continued good health, happiness, and fulfilment in the years ahead,” Tinubu added.
President Tinubu wished Pedro a happy birthday and commended his integrity, patriotism, and lasting legacy in both public and private sectors.
