Prince Harry, Meghan return to Britain with children

Prince Harry, his wife, Meghan, and their two children have returned to Britain, reportedly arriving at Birmingham Airport on Wednesday amid plans to spend an extended period in the country.
The family travelled from the United States on a private jet, according to British media reports, following the couple’s reported decision to relocate to Britain after six years of living in California.
Harry and Meghan are expected to stay in the Cotswolds region of central England, where they have reportedly secured accommodation. Their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have also been enrolled in a private school ahead of the new academic year in September.
However, the couple are not expected to give up their existing properties in California and Portugal, with reports indicating that they intend to maintain their homes outside Britain.
Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020 following tensions within the royal family. Their relationship with the monarchy deteriorated further after Harry published his memoir, Spare, and the couple gave a high-profile interview to Oprah Winfrey.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since maintained a largely separate life from the British royal family. Harry has, however, appeared to make progress in rebuilding his relationship with his father, King Charles III, during recent visits to Britain.
His relationship with his elder brother, Prince William, and William’s wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is reportedly still strained.
Questions remain over security arrangements for the family during their stay in Britain. Harry has previously said he did not feel comfortable bringing his family to the country after losing a legal challenge over government-funded police protection while living abroad.
