As Nigerians grapple with economic challenges, the General Overseer of Great Tabernacle Miracle Church of God (Mountain of Change), Ido Osun in Osun State, Prophet Adeniran Adeyemi, has predicted that 2025 will usher in tremendous transformation for the nation.
Speaking during the church’s 11th-anniversary celebration, the clergyman urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and expect miraculous changes. He assured the congregation that the country is blessed and that God has heard the prayers and supplications of the people.
He further emphasized the need for continued faith and collective optimism about Nigeria’s future.
Prophet Adeyemi also offered prayers for the nation’s leaders, urging them to prioritize measures that would alleviate the hardships caused by the removal of fuel subsidies.
He called on them to listen to the cries of the masses and implement solutions to ease economic challenges.
At the event, Oba Pastor Adeyemi Adediran, the Owamiran of Esa-Oke, highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement for effective community development.
He criticized the neglect of local communities, which, he said, has hindered progress and deprived rural dwellers of the dividends of democracy.
“Our leaders must connect with the grassroots to ensure rapid and effective development of local communities,” the monarch stated.
“Development should reach rural areas, and political leaders must consistently engage with their people to foster progress.”
Recognizing the contributions of religious institutions, Oba Adediran praised churches for their vital role in supporting communities and promoting national growth, particularly during challenging times.
