Spanish giants Real Madrid have made a move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Galatasaray.
Reports indicate that Osimhen is open to offers from the club as they look to strengthen their squad. According to Italian media, Real Madrid has expressed interest in the Nigerian center-forward, as they continue their search for a replacement for the departed Karim Benzema. Despite efforts to secure Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid has yet to fulfill their transfer ambitions.
Sources suggest that Real Madrid is targeting a deal for Osimhen in the upcoming summer transfer window, rather than during the January window.
The potential transfer has raised questions about how Kylian Mbappé would view Osimhen’s arrival, considering ongoing speculation about the French forward’s future.
While Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen is reportedly growing, the striker is also being linked with Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.
Osimhen has impressed at Galatasaray, scoring 8 goals and providing 5 assists in 11 appearances this season. His current market value is estimated at €75 million, according to Transfermarkt data.
