The Lagos State Special Taskforce On Environmental Offences has raided the pen cinema corridor of the Red Rail Line in Agege.

The agency carried out the enforcement along side the Lagos State Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) and the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) operatives.

Comissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Wahab Tokunbo, confirmed the development in a post on his X handle.

Tokunbo explained that the enforcement would be sustained, adding that there would be close monitoring of the corridor.

He said ” LAWMA, KAI and the Lagos State Special Taskforce on Environmental Offences clearing the Pen Cinema corridor of the #RedRailLine and setbacks of all impediments and other infractions from iju, fagba, Pen Cinema, to Isokoko in Agege.

“Monitoring and sustenance continue”.
