Reflections on past interests: Invest wisely for the future, by Adedokun Abolarin

As I grew older, my priorities shifted.
In my younger years, I was passionate about beautiful, high-end clothing, stylish shirts, unique ties, and matching shoes.
I was also a Disco/Party freak, thoroughly enjoying the vibrant nightlife. However, I now realize that investing in stocks and other financial instruments would have been a wiser choice.
In hindsight, I regret not prioritizing investments that could have generated long-term value.
My focus on expensive clothing and accessories, which can be considered “wasting assets,” has led me to encourage the younger generation to invest wisely for their future.
While I cherish memories of my stylish outfits, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of smart financial decisions driven by a desire to benefit humanity and the future.
By prioritizing investments that can positively impact society and the environment, we can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.
The future is key, and it’s essential to think about the impact of our decisions on generations to come. By adopting a forward-thinking approach, we can address global challenges and ensure a better tomorrow for all.
