Regina Daniels confirms arrest warrant over $40,000 theft allegation by Ned Nwoko

The ongoing marital dispute between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, has escalated into a legal confrontation, with Daniels confirming that an arrest warrant has been issued against her and members of her family.
Daniels made the disclosure on Monday during a live broadcast on Instagram, where she said the warrant followed allegations by Nwoko that she and her relatives stole $40,000 from his residence. She, however, denied the claim, insisting that the accusation was false and illogical.
“It is confirmed, it is true. There is a warrant on everybody, including me,” Daniels said. “He is saying that we stole $40,000 from his house, whereas Ned does not even keep money at home.”
During the broadcast, Daniels’ sister also warned that legal action would be taken against Nwoko if he failed to present credible evidence to support the allegation.
The couple’s private disagreements first became public in October after a video circulated online showing Daniels in distress, alleging domestic abuse. Nwoko responded by accusing the actress of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
While Daniels later admitted to drug use, she accused Nwoko of deliberately encouraging the behaviour as a means of control and manipulation.
Tensions intensified further on November 3 when Daniels accused Nwoko of orchestrating the arrest of her brother, Sammy Ojeogwu. He was later granted bail a few days after his arrest.
