Remi Tinubu jokes about ‘turning off mic’ as Adeleke sings at ceremony

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu playfully cautioned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for lingering too long in song during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The light-hearted exchange occurred on Sunday as the governor took the podium to pay tribute to the monarch and congratulate the First Lady on her newly conferred title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. A video of the moment has since gone viral.
Instead of proceeding straight to his goodwill message, Adeleke — widely known as the “Dancing Governor” for his exuberant public style — launched into a brief musical chant, prompting laughter from sections of the audience.
Amid the cheer, Mrs Tinubu jokingly remarked that she would “turn off the mic” if the singing continued, drawing further amusement from attendees and adding a memorable moment to the festivities.
