The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, and his fourth wife, Olori Folashade Ashley Ogunwusi, have welcomed a baby boy.
The joyful news was shared on the monarch’s official social media accounts, accompanied by a heartwarming picture of the proud parents.
On his Facebook page, the Ooni wrote: “To God be the glory, great things He has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today birthed a Prince from the maternal lineage of the Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of Lafogido Ruling House and the paternal lineage of the Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of Giesi Ruling House, united on the Royal throne of Oduduwa.”
He continued, “Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty and in accordance with the spirits of our ancestors.”
Recall that the monarch welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, with his third wife, Olori Tobi Phillips, a few months ago.
In August, the twins were formally received by the Ooni in his palace, five months after their birth announcement.
