Saidi Balogun loses first child

Nollywood star actor Saidi Balogun has lost his first daughter, Zinat Balogun.
According to multiple reports, the cause of the young lady’s death is unknown at the time of filing this report.
Confirming the sad news, the Eti Keta actor took to his Instagram account on Saturday to share a post featuring an image of a candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis.
A close source revealed that Balogun was in the middle of a stage performance at Terra Kulture on Friday, October 4, when he received the devastating news of his daughter’s death.
Actress and estranged wife of Balogun, Faithia Williams, also expressed her grief on Instagram.
She wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” (from Allah we come, and to Him we shall return).”
Balogun’s colleagues, such as Ronke Oshodi Oke, paid tribute on Instagram by posting an image of a candle.
She captioned the post, “No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you @saidibalogun during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you.”
In the same vein, other notable actors including Kunle Afod, Yomi Fash-Lanso, and Adeniyi Johnson have also extended their condolences.
