Sanwo-Olu mourns Plus TV cameraman, Samson Obafisoye

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has mourned the passing of Plus TV cameraman, Mr. Samson Obafisoye, who was attached to his office.
The Governor described Obafisoye’s death as a great loss, not only to his family but also to the broadcast industry.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu referred to the late Obafisoye as a dedicated professional who diligently carried out his duties and made valuable contributions to the broadcast media industry in Nigeria.
The Governor also expressed his condolences to Obafisoye’s family, friends, and colleagues, particularly the management and staff of Plus TV and the Lagos State Governor’s Office Correspondents (LAGOCO).
He said: “Mr. Samson Obafisoye’s death is a significant loss, not only to his family but also to the media industry, especially the management and staff of Plus TV and the Lagos State Governor’s Office Correspondents (LAGOCO). He was a diligent and dedicated professional. His death came as a great shock, but we take comfort in the Almighty God, knowing that he lived a fulfilled life.
“Samson Obafisoye will be greatly missed. On behalf of my family and the State Government, I sympathise with his family, friends, associates, and colleagues. I pray that God grants him eternal rest and gives his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
