Senator Buhari secures approval for Federal University in Okeho, hails Tinubu

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District, has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology in Okeho, Oyo State.
Announcing the development on his social media handles on Friday, the senator described the approval as a product of collective perseverance and dedication.
“Alhamdulillah! Our prayers are answered! My dear people of Oke Ogun, Oyo North, and Oyo State at large, WE DID IT! The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho, is now a reality. Today, I join you in thanking Almighty Allah, who has crowned our decades of patience, sacrifices, and unwavering faith with this historic victory,” he said.
“This achievement is a testament to our collective resilience. To every constituent who never stopped believing, even in the face of skepticism where some branded the struggle a ‘scam,’ this is your win. You have been vindicated. May Allah reward each and every one of you. Amin.”
Senator Buhari extended special appreciation to President Tinubu for his decisive approval of the bill, stating, “Special gratitude to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his fairness and bold assent to this bill. You have rekindled hope in Oke Ogun and the entire Oyo North, which had long been neglected by the federal government. Oyo North will never forget this!”
He also acknowledged the contributions of notable figures from Oke Ogun whose efforts helped actualize the project, including Prof. Gbadegesin, Barr. Ahmed Raji, SAN, Dr. Segun Ajuwon, Dr. Seidu, and others.
“The contributions of these patriots—most especially Prof. Gbadegesin—were instrumental in securing assent for the bill after all legislative procedures had been completed. I pray he continues to live a life of impactful service in good health,” he added.
Concluding, Senator Buhari declared, “This is a new dawn in Oyo North. Let us continue to pray, work, and unite for even greater milestones.”
