Seun Kuti hails Bovi, throws shade at AY

Afrobeat singer and multi-instrumentalist Seun Kuti has hailed comedian Bovi and thrown a shade at another comedian, AY.

Kuti made the comment during an Instagram live.

“Bovi’s skit, oh. E no go better for Bovi (laughs) the skit where the police said, ehn 250k and he said they should keep me. He has already called me, he said he will be using the skit for his show. Bovi is a funny guy.”

Kuti used the opportunity to throw shade at AY saying, “Bovi is a funny guy, not like that other guy that is not funny. You guys know who I am talking about. He rhymes with Dakun, his name rhymes with Dakun.”

AY’s name is Ayo Makun.

It is unsure if there is a beef between AY and Seun but the shade thrown at AY might soon see him responding.
