Shettima in Calabar for 8th Expanded MSME Clinics, Commissions Cally Air Aircraft

By Kunle Sanni –

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday arrived in Calabar, Cross River State, for the 8th Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinics — a Federal Government initiative aimed at boosting small businesses as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda for economic growth and grassroots empowerment.

He was received at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport by Governor Bassey Otu, after which he commissioned two newly acquired aircraft for Cally Air, the state-owned airline.

The Expanded MSME Clinics bring together key regulatory agencies to address challenges facing small businesses, while providing platforms for exhibitions, on-site investments, and enterprise development in five priority areas: funding, skills, infrastructure, market access, and technology.
