Shettima meets Nigerian students, ECOWAS ambassadors in China

On arrival in Beijing, China, for the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Forum, Vice President Kashim Shettima was received at the Nigerian Embassy in China by the Nigerian Ambassador, Baba Ahmad Jidda.
The Vice President, who Iater met with some new Nigerian students in China, also took time to address ECOWAS Ambassadors in China as well as staff of the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing.
The 3rd edition of the Belt and Road Initiative Forum will fully kick-off on Tuesday, with the Forum deliberating on the theme, “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity,” for this year’s meeting.
Over 130 world leaders are expected to attend the Forum. Vice President Kashim Shettima is representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the global event.
