Shettima presides over NEC meeting in Aso Rock
Vice-President Kashim Shettima is presiding over the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.
The meeting is being virtually at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The NEC, chaired by the vice-president, comprises the 36 state governors, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other relevant officials.
The council advises the President on economic affairs and coordinates economic planning across the country.
