South East APC leaders close ranks ahead 2023 general elections

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South East on Thursday met in Owerri for a seminar on how to mobilise support for the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Governor Hope Uzodimma hosted the meeting that was attended by serving ministers, former ministers and politicians who are members of the party. Among those who attended are Minister of State, Sharon Ikeazor and former Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.

Governor Uzodimma used the opportunity of the stakeholders forum to highlight the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari APC-led administration in the South East and the importance of having a united and cohesive party in the region that can deliver victory.

“Cohesion remains the driving force for success within a team and as we approach campaigns ahead of the 2023 general election, we are leaving no stone unturned in unity building within our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“At the South East APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Owerri yesterday, our focus was on strengthening the party mechanisms within the region and improving on our grassroots engagement with the people.

“Remarkably, the APC-led Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, has achieved great developmental strides in the South East region and across the nation, despite some challenges arising from the quest for more inclusion in the administration and development of the nation.

“Our commitment to delivering our candidates in the forthcoming general election is borne out of our subscription to the progress of the nation and we are united towards achieving this feat,” the governor said.
