South West PDP elects new executives in Ibadan

Delegates from all six South West states—Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti—converged in Ibadan on Wednesday for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South West Zonal Congress.
During the congress, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe was elected unopposed as the Zonal Chairman of the PDP in the South West.
The election also produced Adeyemo Adetunji as Zonal Treasurer, Yaya Adeleke as Zonal Financial Secretary, Atofarati Olusanya as Zonal Publicity Secretary, and Bosede Adedibu as Zonal Women Leader, among others.
In his acceptance speech, Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe, who polled 661 votes, pledged to work for the development and unity of the party across the region.
