Spurs fans furious as Arsenal complete Eberechi Eze transfer

Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur reacted angrily after Arsenal confirmed the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.

On Thursday, the Gunners announced a £67.5 million deal for the England international, fending off Tottenham’s interest in the midfielder.

The agreement includes a guaranteed £60 million fee and £7.5 million in add-ons, sealing one of the biggest transfers of the summer.

Minutes after the announcement, hundreds of Spurs fans flooded social media to vent their frustration, accusing Arsenal of hijacking the deal.

Many supporters directed their anger at club chairman Daniel Levy and the management, blaming them for being slow and ineffective in the transfer market.

They lamented that Spurs had missed out on a key target due to poor planning and indecision.

Fans were particularly frustrated that Eze had joined their city rivals, insisting his addition could strengthen Arsenal’s Premier League title push this season.

“It is the final straw for me,” one supporter wrote, while another added: “Tottenham are losing on and off the field to Arsenal.”
