Students protest over kidnap of four colleagues in Ilorin

Some students in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Thursday staged a protest rally to the Government House to register their displeasure over the kidnap of four students along the Kaduna – Suleja highway.
Among the protesting students was the father of one of the kidnapped students who disclosed that the abductors have demanded for N20 million ransom.
The angry students, who took to the Ahmadu Bello Way appealed to the state government to intervene on the development.
“We are here protesting the kidnap of our fellow students along Kaduna/Suleja highway. We urged the Kwara State government to intervene on the development as the kidnappers are already demanding N20million naira as ransom,” one of the protesting students said.
