Super Eagles coach refuses to reveal game plan for Tunisia clash

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is keeping his tactical approach close to the chest ahead of Nigeria’s crucial AFCON 2025 Group C showdown against Tunisia tomorrow.

Speaking on Friday ahead of the match, Chelle made it clear that his final plan and team selection would only be decided after careful assessment.

The Franco-Malian manager, who expressed his respect for the North Africans, stressed that he is keeping his strategy under wraps to avoid giving anything away.

Chelle further hinted at two possible tactical approaches: either allowing Tunisia to have the ball or having his Nigerian team continue with their usual philosophy.

Both Nigeria and Tunisia secured victories in their opening group encounters, with the Super Eagles beating Tanzania 2-1, while the North Africans defeated Uganda 3-1 to top the group on superior goal difference.

A win for either team tomorrow will secure a ticket to the round of 16 with a game to spare.

Tomorrow’s Group C matchup between the two countries kicks off at 9:00 pm Nigerian time.
