Nigeria’s Super Eagles intensified preparations for their tie against Tunisia, their second group game at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) ongoing in Morocco.

The team’s head coach, Eric Sekou Chelle, said after Monday’s 2-1 win over Tanzania that his side would shift its attention to the game against the North Africans.

The Super Eagles on Thursday held a closed-door training session in Fès to intensify preparations for the crucial AFCON 2025 Group C clash against Tunisia on Saturday.

Following their 2-1 win over Tanzania, head coach Éric Chelle opted for privacy to ensure full focus, with only 15 minutes of Friday’s training open to the media.

Nigeria aims to build on its winning start against Tanzania with victory over the Carthage Eagles.
