Super Eagles, Super Falcons camps bubble ahead of international friendlies

Ahead of various international friendly matches, the camps of Nigeria’s senior teams—the Super Eagles and Super Falcons—are buzzing, with most invited players already present.

By Monday evening, 18 of the 23 Super Falcons invited for the friendlies against Cameroon (scheduled for May 31 at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo and June 3 at MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta) had arrived at the team’s Am2pm Hotel in Ijebu-Ode.

Around the same time on Monday, 22 of the 26 Super Eagles invited for the Unity Cup Invitational Tournament in London had arrived at their camp at the DoubleTree Hilton Ealing.

The Super Eagles will face the Black Stars of Ghana at the Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford on Wednesday, May 28, then play a second match at the same venue on Saturday, May 31.

Their opponent in the second match will depend on the result against Ghana and the outcome of the May 27 clash between Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.
