A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Three Good Hearts, committed to improving the lives of Nigerians, has launched a skill acquisition programme aimed at empowering individuals and fostering economic growth.
With the support of international sponsors Christopher Ekagha from the United Kingdom, Baba Oguntolu Akinlana from the United States, and African Child from Nigeria, the NGO is making strides in its mission to create sustainable opportunities for the community.
Fifteen participants, including individuals with disabilities and those seeking to enhance their existing skill sets, have been selected to undergo a month-long training programme designed to equip them with essential skills in tie and dye.
The programme aims to positively impact the lives of individuals and their communities in Nigeria.
The Executive Director of Three Good Hearts, Adebayo Muritala (Bulldozer), expressed gratitude to the sponsors for their invaluable support and emphasized the importance of skill acquisition programmes in promoting self-reliance and development.
According to Muritala, the participants reflect the NGO’s commitment to inclusivity and its belief in the potential of every individual to contribute positively to society.
He said, “Through this initiative, we are empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
“By including people from different backgrounds and abilities, we aim to create an environment where everyone has equal access to opportunities for growth.”
Muritala, who is visually impaired, is breaking barriers and making significant strides in his mission to create sustainable opportunities for his community.
