Three siblings die in Ogun after meal
Three siblings, Saheed (12), Nafisat (10), and Rodiat (7), all children of one Mariam Fatai, have died after eating a meal suspected of containing harmful substances.
Abiola Ekunnusi, a resident of Igbosoro, Ogun State, reported the matter to the Divisional Police Officer of Igode.
The Ogun State Police Command has commenced investigation into the tragic incident.
According to reports, the source of the food that led to the unfortunate incident remains unknown, even as the children were said to have consumed the food without their parents’s knowledge.
The spokesperson of the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident.
SP Odutola revealed that the remains of the deceased have been released to their parents for burial.
