Tinubu appoints Abdullahi Usman as new NAHCON Chair

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Usman as the Executive Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
This announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
Professor Usman is a distinguished scholar with academic credentials from two Islamic centers of excellence: the University of Madinah and Peshawar University in Pakistan. He brings extensive experience in Hajj operations, having previously served as the Chairman of the Kano State Pilgrims Board, where he successfully managed the largest quota of state pilgrims in the country.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Senate.
President Tinubu has expressed his expectation that the new NAHCON Chairman will carry out his responsibilities with integrity, transparency, and unwavering commitment to the nation.
