Tinubu appoints ex-lagos lawmaker ED Galaxy BackBone Ltd

President Bola Tinubu has appointed former Lagos lawmaker, Hon. Olusegun Olulade as Executive Director, Customer Centricity and Marketing at Galaxy BackBone Limited.

Olulade who represented Epe constituency 2 in the Lagos state House of Assembly from 2011 to 2019, was the immediate past National Secretary, Social and Humanitarian Directorate of 2023 APC Tinubu/Shettima’s Presidential Campaign Council.

During his tenure, Olulade served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Healthcare Services and later as Chairman of the House Committee on Information and Strategy in the Lagos House of Assembly. His performance and delivery in these roles earned him recognition and praise, contributing to socio-economic productivity and earning him prestigious accolades.

As a lawmaker, he proposed several motions on the floor of the Assembly, including a motion to mandate the teaching of indigenous languages in all primary and secondary schools in Lagos State and a motion for the immortalization of the late Afrobeat legend and social crusader, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. He also became the first lawmaker in Nigeria to initiate an informative radio program for constituents’ feedback and engagement.

Olulade has received over 100 awards, including recognition as the Outstanding Lawmaker of the Year in 2012, the Legislative Excellence Award in the same year, and the Most Media-Friendly Lawmaker in 2015. He has also been honored as an Honorary Citizen of Georgia by the State of Georgia in the United States and received the Special Gold Award as the 2020 Fellowship Hall of Fame of the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management Politics (Ghana), among many others.

Furthermore, Olulade is the founder of the Eleniyancares Leadership Foundation, which partners with the London School of Economics in England and the Leadership Institute Virginia in the United States of America. He is also an accomplished author, having written the award-winning book titled “ELENIYAN PERCEPTIVE.”
