Tinubu appoints Olopade as Director General of NSC

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Bukola Olopade as the Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
Olopade is an experienced sports administrator with extensive expertise in the field. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2024 National Sports Festival and has previously held the position of Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State.
Notably, Olopade is also one of the key figures behind the highly regarded Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, now in its ninth year.
His appointment follows the recent designation of Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the NSC.
