Tinubu approves appointment of Chargé d’affaires, Consuls General

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Chargé d’affaires (en titre) CDAs and Consuls General.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar.

The Minister stressed the appointed Consuls General and Chargé d’affaires’ vital role in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic objectives and asked them to act as competent Nigerian representatives.

As seasoned diplomats, he underlined the significance of staying focused on their diplomatic responsibilities and urged them to refrain from getting involved in politics in favor of recommitting themselves to the honorable endeavor of diplomacy for the advancement of Nigeria and the greater good.
