Tinubu approves new appointments in Nigeria Customs Service

President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has approved the appointment of new management members for the Nigeria Customs Service.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Abdullahi Maiwada, Chief Superintendent of Customs and National Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Customs Service.
The statement said the new appointments were made following the retirement of some management members in the Service and the appointment of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on June 19.
The newly appointed officials are DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed and ACG A Alajogun.
“While thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi congratulated the newly appointed Officers and charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation,” the statement said.
