President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of the high-level Africa-France Summit co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Nigerian leader touched down in Nairobi at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday.

The summit, themed “Africa Forward: Africa-France Partnerships for Innovation and Growth,” will focus on climate action, digital transformation, energy transition, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic cooperation between African nations and France.

During his stay in Kenya, the President is expected to hold bilateral meetings with African and French leaders, engage investors and business executives, and promote Nigeria’s reform agenda in key sectors including energy, infrastructure, technology, and trade.

Following the Kenya engagements, Tinubu is expected to proceed to Kigali, Rwanda, for the Africa CEO Forum.
