President Bola Tinubu has paid glowing tribute to former lawmaker, Adebisi Yusuff on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a people’s leader, humanitarian, and steadfast ally in the pursuit of good governance.
In a congratulatory message on Friday, President Tinubu joined Yusuff’s family, friends, and associates in celebrating the elder statesman, noting his contributions to Lagos politics and grassroots development.
“You have proven your mettle as a people’s leader, mobilizer of consciences, lawmaker, financial expert, humanitarian, and, more importantly, reliable political ally,” the President said.
Tinubu commended Yusuff’s leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho Local Government Area, stressing that his efforts have strengthened the party and supported the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at transforming lives at the grassroots.
The President also highlighted Yusuff’s 12-year tenure as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, where he represented Alimosho Constituency I between 2011 and 2023, as well as his service as Chairman of Ipaja/Ayobo Local Council Development Area.
During his time in the Lagos Assembly, Yusuff chaired several committees, including those on Public Accounts (Local) and Commerce, leaving a mark of excellence in legislative oversight.
Tinubu further acknowledged Yusuff’s humanitarian contributions through the Prince Hope Turns to Reality Foundation (PHTRF), which has provided healthcare and empowerment to vulnerable people in Alimosho.
