Tinubu celebrates ex- President Buhari at 82

President Bola Tinubu has paid tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari, in celebration of his 82nd birthday.

In a message signed on Monday by the president, Tinubu acknowledged Buhari’s unwavering dedication to Nigeria’s progress and the lasting impact of his leadership.

“On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you on your 82nd birthday,” Tinubu wrote.

Reflecting on Buhari’s decades of service, Tinubu praised his resilience in contesting multiple elections before becoming president in 2015 and his efforts to unite the nation during his two-term tenure. Tinubu also pledged to continue building on the infrastructure legacy Buhari established during his administration.

“Your steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s advancement and unity inspires many, and your enduring legacy continues to guide our nation’s journey towards prosperity and stability,” Tinubu added.
