Tinubu celebrates ‘loyal ally,’ Dele Alake, on 67th birthday

President Bola Tinubu has praised his long-time friend and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, who turned 67 on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, the President described Alake as a patriotic and dedicated public servant who has been with him for over four decades.
The President recalled their journey together from the media industry to the political arena, where they both served as Governor and Commissioner of Lagos State respectively, and later as President and Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Through it all, Dele has proven to be a partner and worthy brother,” the President said.
The President also commended Alake for his versatility and character, saying he has impressed many people with his loyalty, trust, respect, and empathy.
The President thanked the Minister for his support over the years, especially in times of challenges and difficulties.
He wished him more years of success and happiness, and prayed for God’s guidance and protection for him in his new assignment.
