Tinubu condoles Jigawa Governor over mother’s passing

President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.

Hajiya Maryam, the matriarch of the Namadi family, passed away on Wednesday, December 25. She was laid to rest in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa in accordance with Islamic rites.

In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the late Hajiya Maryam for her dedication to community service.

He encouraged her family to honor her memory by sustaining her philanthropic endeavors, ensuring her legacy endures.

Offering words of comfort, the president urged Governor Namadi and other bereaved family members to find solace in the exemplary life and good name she left behind.
