Tinubu condoles Jigawa over devastating flooding

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to the government and people of Jigawa State following the recent flooding that has claimed lives and displaced numerous residents.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, President Tinubu commiserated with the bereaved families and all those affected by the flooding, which has impacted around 14 local government areas and numerous households.

President Tinubu emphasized that the recurring environmental disasters highlight the urgent need to sustain efforts to combat climate change and eliminate human-induced factors contributing to these challenges.

The President offered prayers for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and assured the people of Jigawa of his administration’s unwavering support during this difficult period.
