Tinubu condoles Zamfara over flood, fatal boat accident

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sympathy to the people and government of Zamfara State following recent floods in Gummi Local Government Area and a tragic boat accident that claimed the lives of over 40 farmers en route to their farms over the weekend.
A statement on Sunday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, (Information and Strategy), said Tinubu extended the condolences of the federal government and the Nigerian people, pledging support for the victims of both disasters.
Tinubu directed emergency response agencies to collaborate with Zamfara State authorities to provide assistance and conduct a thorough assessment of the incidents to prevent future occurrences.
The President emphasized the need for swift action in aiding those affected by the twin tragedies.
