Tinubu felicitates Itsekiri leader Ayirimi Emami on 50th birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Chief Ayirimi Emami, a prominent Itsekiri leader, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, celebrated on April 26.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Chief Emami as a distinguished politician, businessman, and philanthropist, lauding his contributions to nation-building.

President Tinubu commended Chief Emami’s dedication to peacebuilding efforts, the safeguarding of vital oil and gas resources, and the promotion of unity and stability in the Niger Delta region.

“I thank Chief Emami for his support over the years for me and my wife, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a daughter of Itsekiriland, standing with us before and during the 2023 elections,” the President stated.

President Tinubu prayed for Chief Emami’s continued good health and wished him many more years of impactful service to the Itsekiri people and the nation at large.
