Tinubu hails Adeleke at 65, describes him as pan-Nigerian leader

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his 65th birthday, celebrated on May 13, 2025.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended Adeleke for his notable political contributions in Osun State and across the country.

He acknowledged the governor’s rise to national prominence, beginning with his election as Senator representing Osun West in 2017, and later as governor in 2022.

Describing Adeleke as a pan-Nigerian leader, President Tinubu highlighted his inclusive governance style and rich cultural background, which blends both Yoruba and Igbo heritage.

The President also prayed for Governor Adeleke’s continued good health, long life, and divine blessings, referring to him by his traditional title, the Asiwaju of Edeland.
