President Bola Tinubu has congratulated veteran broadcaster and media entrepreneur, Prince Bisi Olatilo, on his 50 years in the media industry and his 71st birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Olatilo for his outstanding contributions to Nigerian media through broadcasting, print, advertising, public relations, and strategic communications.
Describing Olatilo as a unifying voice in the country, the President commended him for consistently promoting national unity and progress throughout his five-decade-long career. He also lauded the enduring legacy of The Bisi Olatilo Show, which marks its 25th anniversary on air this year.
The President highlighted Olatilo’s exceptional multilingual abilities—fluency in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo—which have broadened his reach and inspired a new generation of Nigerian communicators.
President Tinubu further acknowledged the numerous awards and recognitions earned by the media icon, including the Nigerian Media Merit Award, as a testament to his excellence and impact.
Praying for Olatilo’s continued good health and long life, the President expressed confidence in his ongoing contribution to the nation through storytelling and impactful media engagement.
