Tinubu hails Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Kalu as a seasoned lawmaker who has demonstrated remarkable legislative skill and dedication since his election in 2019 to represent the Bende Federal Constituency.
Tinubu highlighted Kalu’s key contributions to the passage of landmark legislation, including the Student Loan Act of 2024, the Nigerian Startup Act of 2022, and the South-East Development Commission Act.
The President also commended the Deputy Speaker’s efforts on the international stage, describing him as a “worthy ambassador” for Nigeria at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), where he has continued to advance the country’s interests globally.
President Tinubu wished Kalu continued good health, strength, and wisdom, expressing hope for many more years of impactful public service.
