Tinubu hails Plateau gov Mutfwang on birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on the occasion of his birthday, praising his leadership and contributions to the development of the state.
In a goodwill message on Thursday, the President described Mutfwang as a committed lawyer and politician whose responsible leadership has helped to stabilise Plateau State and reposition it towards its former reputation as the “Home of Peace and Tourism.”
Tinubu highlighted the governor’s efforts in strengthening security, improving rural infrastructure, and advancing the healthcare and education sectors.
He also noted the administration’s economic initiatives, particularly the establishment of agro-logistics hubs aimed at revitalising the state’s economy and supporting agricultural development.
The President further commended Mutfwang for promoting inclusive governance and fostering peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities in the state.
He also praised the governor’s decision to inaugurate a 14-member State Advisory Committee on State Police, describing the move as proactive and aligned with the Federal Government’s directive for states to begin the process of establishing state police structures. According to the President, the step represents a strategic effort to strengthen Plateau State’s security framework.
Tinubu wished the governor good health and continued strength as he carries on with his responsibilities in leading the state.
