Tinubu hails Soludo, pledges support for Anambra’s gas, infrastructure push

President Bola Tinubu has praised Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his leadership in improving security and infrastructure, describing Anambra as a state with “huge potential” to drive Nigeria’s economic transformation.

During his one-day working visit to the state on Thursday, Tinubu commended Soludo’s ambitious plan to transform Anambra into the “African Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley (ADTS)” and pledged federal support to help realize that vision.

“I have just commissioned two landmark projects—the Solution Fun City and the Government House mini-city—which are part of the initial steps toward your audacious vision,” Tinubu said. “These are bold statements of leadership and what can be achieved in such a short time.”

He also lauded the governor’s efforts in strengthening security and assured continued federal collaboration with the state and the Southeast region to safeguard lives and property.

Tinubu noted that Anambra and the Southeast hold vast natural gas reserves, which have been largely neglected in the national gas master plan. He called for urgent steps to harness these resources, particularly for gas-powered energy and industrial development.
