Tinubu has qualities that can lead Nigeria to promised land, says Gombe Governor Yahaya

Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya has described National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as someone who can lead Nigeria to the promised land.
Yahaya said this when he received Tinubu who was in the state to meet with delegates of the party in continuation of his tour of the country to seek support for his presidential ambition.
Yahaya described Tinubu as a prominent leader and politician par excellence who has the qualities to lead Nigeria.
“It is a known fact that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs no introduction anywhere in this country; he is a prominent politician par excellence and a leader examplified,” the Gombe governor said.
“Today is another special day for us; we are showcasing yet another very important person that we feel has those qualities that can lead this country and take it to the promise land and as such and I have the belief that all the people of Gombe are really happy receiving you.”
Governor Yahaya described Gombe as home of the APC and equally a place of abode for the party’s national leader.
Tinubu disclosed that discussions were on between himself and Governor Yahaya on practical ways to advance the development of Gombe State.
“For us, we are always talking peace, stability, the unity of our dear country. I am glad I find a titled Yoruba eminent personality here and that is how Nigeria should be so that we all can continue to be one and one single entity,” Tinubu said.
According to him, Nigeria stood at a vantage position to engage in meaningful venture such as agriculture for local production, consumption and export.
He further assured that if elected as President, himself and Governor Yahaya will work together to make things better, banish hunger and reset Nigeria’s prosperity.
The former Lagos State governor had earlier visited the palace of the Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness, Abubakar Shehu-Abubakar to seek for prayers and blessings of the exalted stool on his ambition to become the president of Nigeria.
The Emir noted that the name Senator Tinubu was a household name in Nigerian politics, describing his record as a former Governor of Lagos State and subsequently National leader of APC as incredible.
“As a former Lagos Governor, your success on internal revenue generation has set Lagos on the part of sustainable economic independence,” the monarch said.
The royal father noted that Senator Bola Tinubu has carved a niche for himself in the nation’s political history as a mentor to leaders and frontline politicians.
