Dare said the President engaged with the leadership of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on key sectors including energy, housing, transportation, and infrastructure development.

“After that, he went into multiple detailed sessions. First, he engaged with the top leadership of the IFC. The issues discussed were around energy, housing, transportation, and infrastructure development,” Dare said.

He added that Tinubu also met with APM Terminals, which already operates in Nigeria under an agreement expected to run until 2031.

“At that meeting, they announced interest in investing another $600 million,” he stated.

According to Dare, the President also held discussions with investors in the solid minerals sector who have operated in Guinea for over a decade and are now exploring opportunities in Nigeria.

“Thereafter, he met with investors interested in solid minerals. They have been in Guinea for 10 years and are interested in investing in Nigeria. They operate an integrated approach involving infrastructure, mining, and related sectors,” he said.

Tinubu also met with the President of Guinea, where both leaders discussed prospects for stronger bilateral cooperation, particularly in the mining and minerals sector.

“The possibilities are great, and we are likely to see those relationships develop in the coming years,” Dare added.
