Tinubu is doing well, Nigeria difficult to manage- Buhari

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the efforts of President Bola Tinubu, stating that he had impressed quite well since assuming office on the 29th of May in 2023.

Buhari stated this during a meeting with the Comptroller-General and members of the management team of the Nigeria Customs Service in Daura, Katsina State.

He further praised Tinubu’s performance, acknowledging the complexity of the various phases of Nigeria’s system, which according to him, was a challenge hampering those in power.

The former President also urged Nigerians to endure the country’s economic hardship and support the current administration’s policies and programmes.

“I thank you very much for coming. I very much appreciate it. I thought Tinubu has done very well.

”Nigeria is so complex. Really, there isn’t much anybody can do,” he said.
